It was that time! She was hoisted from the water. Delfini needed paint, some TLC and we have to change three hull fittings and about a million other jobs. We sent out an SOS to friends and family. And what do you know…we got the job done!
Up she goes!
Sony! One of our wonderful friends who answered our SOS. He is, among other things, the undisputed king of masking tape!
Kathrine. She came to our aid, and what a job she did! She was actually so thorough that she had anti-fouling paint all over her face.
Robin, Rudi`s brother, on all four. He came to help us, in spite of having the flu.
Ida, my sister, scarified her shirt when she spilled a drop of paint. I will write more about my amazing sister in a new post! How would we manage without her? I’m not sure we could!
And then, there is this guy. Rudi`s father. A mention in a blog post is not enough. This man should have a whole blog dedicated to him! He has been working on the boat every week, all winter. Without him I am not sure we would be embarking on this journey!
Ida, my sister, my mom, and Rudi`s mom was doing one of the most important jobs. Taking care of Troy!
This is what happens when you get a drop of blue anti fouling paint in your mustache, and rub…You turn blue 😀
Øyvind, my brother has also lend a helping hand. But I didn’t get a Picture of him. Sorry Bro! I will write a bit more in my next post, about how he helped me when Delfini was due back on the water. It wasn’t without drama!
Ida, Jan Robert, Kathrine, Sony, Vivi, Nina, Øyvind and Robin! Thank you so much!!!
